Υπάρχει σοβαρή ένδειξη για μεταφυσικές ανησυχίες τόσο μακριά που τις τοποθετείς;
Έχεις αποδείξεις ότι οι μεταφυσικές ανησυχίες οδήγησαν στο θρησκευτικό φαινόμενο;

WIKIPEDIA BURIAL
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burial
Intentional burial, particularly with grave goods, may be one of the earliest detectable forms of religious practice since, as Philip Lieberman suggests, it may signify a "concern for the dead that transcends daily life."[1] Though disputed, evidence suggests that the Neanderthals were the first hominids to intentionally bury the dead, doing so in shallow graves along with stone tools and animal bones [2]. Exemplary sites include Shanidar in Iraq, Kebara Cave in Israel and Krapina in Croatia. Some scholars, however argue that these bodies may have been disposed of for secular reasons.[3]
The earliest undisputed human burial dates back 130,000 years.Human skeletal remains stained with red ochre were discovered in the Skhul cave at Qafzeh, Israel. A variety of grave goods were present at the site, including the mandible of a wild boar in the arms of one of the skeletons.[4]
Prehistoric cemeteries are referred to by the more neutral term grave field. They are one of the chief sources of information on prehistoric cultures, and numerous archaeological cultures are defined by their burial customs, such as the Urnfield culture of the European Bronze Age.

Paleolithic religion refers to the religious beliefs and practices of the Paleolithic period, which lasted from 2.6 million years ago till 12,000 BP. Nothing is known for sure about the religious beliefs of Paleolithic people, and everything that is theorised is done from the evidence taken from burials and artwork.[1] Religious behaviour is thought to have emerged by the Upper Paleolithic, before 30,000 years ago at the latest,[2] but behavioral patterns such as burial rites that may be characterized as religious, or ancestral to religious behaviour, reach back into the Middle Paleolithic, as early as 300,000 years ago, coinciding with the first appearance of Homo neanderthalensis and Homo sapiens. Religious behaviour combines ritual, spirituality, mythology and magical thinking or animism, aspects that may have separate histories of development during the Middle Paleolithic before combining into "religion proper" of behavioral modernity.
There are suggestions for the first appearance of religious or spiritual experience in the Lower Paleolithic (significantly earlier than 300,000 years ago, pre-Homo sapiens), but these are controversial and have limited support.

Likewise a number of archeologists propose that Middle Paleolithic societies such as Neanderthal societies may also have practiced the earliest form of totemism or animal worship in addition to their (presumably religious) burial of the dead. Emil Bächler in particular suggests (based on archeological evidence from Middle Paleolithic caves) that a widespread Middle Paleolithic Neanderthal bear cult existed (Wunn, 2000, p. 434-435). Additional evidence in support of Middle Paleolithic animal worship originates from the Tsodilo Hills (c 70,000 BCE) in the African Kalahari desert where a giant rock resembling a python that is accompanied by large amounts of colored broken spear points and a secret chamber has been discovered inside a cave.

Evidence of earliest human burial
By Paul Rincon
Scientists claim they have found the oldest evidence of human creativity: a 350,000-year-old pink stone axe.
The handaxe, which was discovered at an archaeological site in northern Spain, may represent the first funeral rite by human beings.
It suggests humans were capable of symbolic thought at a far earlier date than previously thought.
Spanish researchers found the axe among the fossilised bones of 27 ancient humans that were clumped together at the bottom of a 14-metre- (45 feet) deep pit inside a network of limestone caves at Atapuerca, near Burgos.
IT is the only man-made implement found in the pit.
It may confirm the team's belief that other humans deposited bodies in the pit deliberately.
