Όπως αναφέρεται στην ανακοίνωση, τα τσιγάρα έχουν διαφορετικό βαθμό αντοχής:. «Φως Σούπερ» - «Πνεύμα», «Φως» - «Ο γιος», «Original» - «Πατέρα»
Σε κάθε συσκευασία υπάρχει η επιγραφή:
"Το κάπνισμα είναι μια αμαρτία."
Ανακοίνωση του νέου προϊόντος κατανέμεται μεταξύ των μπλόγκερ. Πολλοί από αυτούς πιστεύουν ότι είναι αντι-εκκλησιαστική περίπτωση, και τα "ορθόδοξα τσιγάρα" - μια φαντασίωση του photoshop.

Church unamused by ‘Orthodox cigarettes’ gag

Russian Church officials are fuming about the proposal of taking a puff in the name of God, which was spread in a series of spoof adverts.
“Orthodox cigarettes” were nothing but one of numerous “rotten gags,” according to Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin.
Pictures of cigarette packets emblazoned with images of Christ and warning that “smoking is sinful” appeared on the internet earlier this month, and were believed to be an anti-church act by some bloggers, RIA Novosti reported.

Absolution for sins
The vast majority, however, believed the advertisement, which also mentioned an “exclusive collection of myrtle-oozing cigarette packets,” to be a simple fake from the very beginning.
But the joke’s authors did do a very good job as their non-existent product had a well thought-through marketing strategy.
A collection of 100 inserts with biblical quotes would let smokers jump the queue for an absolution for their sins, the online announcement read. And tobacco-users would also be able to choose between “Super Lights – Holy Spirit,” “Lights – Son and “Original – Father” versions.

Holy water vodka
While internet-savvy folks were reposting the joke and suggesting more ideas to cash in on religious sinners, like vodka made out of holy water, Chaplin said he was unimpressed.
“These postmodernist games have been through even more sophisticated stages, run their course and become boring,” he told RIA Novosti on Thursday.
The Russian Orthodox Church has already been involved in a big tobacco scandal when tax-free cigarettes were imported in Russia through its affiliated bodies in the mid-90s. Media reports suggested at the time that the current patriarch, and then metropolitan of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, Kirill, was involved in the scheme.
The church didn’t deny that tobacco and alcohol was imported on special tax conditions, but said that Kirill wasn’t linked to it. The official amount of profits gained hasn’t been unveiled.
The authors of the spoof ad proposed that all funds raised from these cigarettes would sponsor church construction and restoration all over the country.
